Swapping to a 10 bolt in my '72 Cheyenne. I've got the adjustable weld-in style panhard bar.
I can't seem to find anything on using these on a stock height truck. Lots of info and pics for lowered or bagged trucks.
So is this the "preferred" way to mount the bracket?
Truck is sitting on the ground, sans shocks.

The rule of thumb is the bar should be level and as long as possible. That about covers it.
Oh and it shouldn't hit anything.

Your good, weld that bracket to the axle tube and your done. Make sure the axle is centered under the truck...

Great, thanks for the responses. It looked good to me, but I don't like to assume. Lol

It is very close to the passenger side frame rail when I cycle the suspension, but I can shorten up the bar to remedy that. Not hitting things is always a plus w susp travel.

Make sure the rear end is centered before welding it.
