new 350..and the police

as most of you know, my truck has been undergoing major reconstrustion . the other day my dad and i finished the motor swap. it went by faster than i thought ever possiable. most everything bolted up first try and i am very pleased with it.
this is where the polise get envolved.... well who whould install a new engine in their truck and not go out for a test drive?? (even if it well... has no bumbers, mirrors, plates, PAINT, and mufflers... hahaha. to make a long story short, i was pulled over by a fellow motor head cop and he let me go!!
i know you guys will ask for engine pics, but im going to be like ken (his secret blazer) and hide my truck untill it is finished.
so far the truck is on its 6th coat of primer and headed to the paint shop soon. the old 15's rally sport wheels are still on it, but i have a set of foose speedster 22's sitting in my room. you gotta love waking up to the smell of fresh rubber everyday!!

Anticipation is a good thing isn't it. Just give us sneak peaks as you go. I found the wheels and they are a new design. They are really sharp. The only thing I think you will learn to hate about them is the rivets (bolt heads). Having had a set of true 3 piece wheels that were bolted together I can tell you they suck to clean. I have vowed to never own a set again because of how much hassle it was.

Regardless, your truck and those wheels are going to look pimp....

Hehehe Got ya huh?

I tortured my neighbors regularly when I was putting my 75 back together. Sitting is bad and I was replacing floors. So every chance I could I would make a few laps around the block. It was about once every moth or so. At it's worse both front fenders, hood and doors were off and the core suport was braced with a 2x4 off the top of the cowl. Few laps then cover it up for a couple hours incase the cops got called.
