F/S 1972 "4wd Specific Parts" Oil Dipstick, Shift Levers & Shift Boot Rings - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Below listed parts removed from a donor 72 K/5 with the 350 Small Block/SM465/NP205 setup, I had originally stuck some of this back for chrome plating for a K burb project that ended up being sold awhile back, I recently came across this stuff still stashed away upstairs. The pictured oil dipstick and dipstick tube assy are 72 4wd K/5-10-1500-20-2500 specific items while the shift levers and boot rings are correct for any 71-72 4wd K/5-10-1500-20-2500 truck, suburban, blazer or jimmy with the 4 speed/205 setup, the single bend transmission shift lever is also correct for 70 and prior K models but the transfer case shift lever is the 71-72 style, am only offering these parts as listed/grouped below. Hi Randy, I take it as you do not need the above matched set of 72 4wd SM465/NP205 shift levers? If needing the NP205 shift lever by itself, instead of breaking up the above pictured pair of 4wd levers we will get you some pics of another 72 NP205 shift lever and also check on the shift linkage this morning. On the needed t/c shift knob if asking for restoration quality, we are pretty well picked over on nice 71-72 style t/c shift knobs, you just missed on a NOS 71-72 t/c shift knob that we had/sold a couple of weeks back but if working on a four speed 4wd build we do still have the matching NOS four speed shift knob available from the NOS set that we had stuck back for a restoration/build that isn't going to happen. Will get some pics and info for you by mid day, Mel

Hey Randy, here's the 72 NP205 t/c shift lever that we can get headed your way, the lever is shown from three different views and has the correct 7/16"-20 NF threads for the 71-72 style knob w/shift pattern. We also have this pictured NP205 shift linkage setup and a 72 type 9/16"-12 NC shift lever pivot bolt available if needed. Am pricing the parts separately below just let me know what all is needed, we can ship the t/c lever with any or all of the small parts for $21.10 via USPS priority.
