December ToTM
Our December 2019 Truck of the Month (ToTM) contest theme is
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Yes, I am weird, but I have to keep you folks entertained. The theme for this month is the stepside trucks. In order to compete in this month’s contest, you will need to meet the following criteria:
To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum with at least one full view of the vehicle. In addition, we will need the owner’s board name and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominations will run through November 23. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up November 24 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of December 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of December 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: December ToTM
Ok, since there are no other Task Force trucks yet nominated and since it's for December, I nominate my '55 big window short bed in Christmas red! It's a mildly crammed LQ4 with 4l85e trans and 8.8 limited flip rearend. Corvette IFS on Flat Out Engineering crossmember in front and flipped leaf springs in rear. 17x8 Boyd's original Smoothie's all around.
PS: The serape on the seat is just a cover. The stock, but reshaped bench seat is upholstered in a light Camel color.

I nominate my Silver Stepside that I have owned for 21 years. She is on her 3rd and dare I say last engine. It's a 6.0 with a 4l80, 3.73 rear. With a fresh dose of Vintage Air.
