Dont know about the lady part but I am of the female variety. Well more of a Tom Boy than lady. I would rather be in the garage than the house. But can do both. Love the forum. Lots of good info here. We have a 68 gmc, 72 gmc Sierra grande longhorn variety. And a 71 Chevy shortbed. 88 blazer. Now we need to build another garage to keep them all in. Some are survivors and some in process of being built. Am getting older and dont know if will get them all done but am still trying. Its winter so not much getting done now. Wish would just warm up a bit. Sorry no pictures. No one would ever talk to me again Haha.

Painterljp, I showed my wife your Sierra Grande and we both love it! I am getting my '68 Chevy ready for paint and I want it to match my camper.

The Sierra Grande will have no problem pulling a camper it has a rebuilt 402 in it. Original motor and turbo 400 tranny. We changed rears from 410 ho52 to 3.54 gears as the speed limit in NM is 65 in town and 75 at city limits. Before we changed gears it would do about 60 without pistons swapping holes. Lost a little grunt but she will do 80 now no problem. We have a 22 or 24 ft. 1971 Holiday Rambler we are going to paint to match truck. But I like your smaller camper. The 68 in garage is 503 paint with white roof. The 72 is a shade darker green. Not sure of code on it. That one is original paint or what's left of it. Looks better in pictures than it really is.

It's funny how we might assume we are reading guys' posts just because, when you really don't know. Ever think what a person's voice or accent sounds like? We are from all over. Do you picture some guys as fat and some skinny? Even age, you can check but do you assume? I haven't seen her post for a while, but Dad's Longhorn, Julie, was always being taken for a man because of the gender in he user name. It's Dad's old Longhorn and dads have daughters, too.
