Re: Factory built???
This would have been a cab only, no bed from the factory

Re: Factory built???
The dually rearend would have been added later on. GM didnt build any factory 4wd duallys. Companies such as Napco converted a few 2wds to 4wd, but your model number denotes a factory built 3/4t 4wd

Re: Factory built???
Is the dual rear wheel option listed on the SPID? This could be a rarely optioned truck. Dual wheel was an option on C/20 cab & chassis so why not K/20 cab & chassis? The front would still have the single type wheels.
Years ago ('80s) I knew an excavating contractor who was into these trucks real heavy with his brother. I never went and looked at his stuff, but he would tell me about a factory dual rear wheel 4wd dump truck they had and swore it was factory (except dump rig). I always wondered if they had a rare thing or didn't know as much as they thought they did. You never saw a one ton dual rear 4wd because GM didn't build them until '77. But GM did offer dual wheels on 3/4t trucks
