Ok this truck started life as a long bed and now is a short bed,C-10?.When I got this truck the bed was 3/4 inch higher than the cab I replaced all the sheet metal,bed,doors,fenders,hood and nothing has changed,this chassis had overload springs on the rear which I removed,and someone (PO) torched the hole out where the driveshaft goes thru,To correct the miss alignment I added 3/4 inch of washers welded together to the cab mounts.So I was thinking this frame is a 4 wheel drive or 3/4 ton.So I ordered 4 wheel drive 3/4 ton body mounts and comparing them to the body mounts plus washers they are 1 inch taller.Will these new mounts compress that much.Thanks Jeff

The answer is no with a possible yes...Like Grumpy said, need some pics. If your going to shim it, shim it with 2" - 3" diameter rubber washers. With all new sheet metal what condition are the cab supports in?

Is the frame a SWB frame or did the PO shorten the LWB frame? If he shortened a LWB frame did he do it right? He could have messed things up and thats why the box is so much higher than the cab. Post pictures of the box frame mounts.

yes it has been shortened,it looks like it was done right and a 1/4 inch plate was welded on inside of the frame,hope this helps.Jeff

What year is this truck?

It sure looks like you could replace the cab mount rubber with new. They are old and cracked, and probably not as thick as they once were.

The cab mounts on the frame look like they are at the right elevation. I think it was lazy to weld the rear cab mount bracket to the frame instead of drilling holes and bolting them. But, that's just me.

Are you sure there is not some kind of spacers under the bed? or rubber pads? holding it up?

It has been awhile since I owned anything that wasn't a 1968 and on those the rear cab mount bolt goes up from the bottom and threads into a captured nut in the cab. Did you maybe replace the bolts with allthread or something?

1967,The rubber mounts are not that old they are just cheap made,I think the reason they welded the brackets the rivet heads were almost rusted away,,no the bed is new its metal to metal on the frame because of the difference in body lines.I replaced the bolts with B-7 threaded rod and double nuts.I have new 3/4 ton rubber mounts and theres an inch difference in them and the mounts and washers that's on it now

Yeah you have a bit of a mess going on there with the welded mounts...The two core supports and four cab supports all six work together to align the fenders, doors, and cowling. I'm assuming your bed is high compared to the cab from your comments, the question is, how high? Here's a look at the correct layout of rubber cushions for the 67 C/10. https://www.lmctruck.com/1967-72-che...ng-2wd-1-2-ton You can take some measurements and narrow down what you need by calling LMC and asking what the difference in heights between C/10's & C/20's and K/10's and K/20's. I'd also order some 1/4" rubber bed spacers to eliminate any hammering when you encounter rough roads. You got all new sheet metal, might as well give it new supports front to back...

before I put the washers in on top of the mounts the bed was 5/8 inch higher than the cab

Bent frame truck fixed by shortening the frame maybe. Get some frame measurements first.

Ok I cut down the 3/4 ton mounts on a lathe and they worked out pretty good.Thanks to all you guys for replying.Thanks Jeff
