Replacement swing out towing mirror heads or glass and seal
When I was younger you could buy replacement mirror glass a seals for the mirrors on our suburban. Does anyone know where to source a set of replacements? Glass/seals or mirror heads?

The silvering was getting bad on the mirrors on Dad's 77. We had a local glass shop cut some replacement mirror glass and I installed them into the mirror heads. I was able to carefully remove and re-use the existing seals (they were still in good shape) so I'm not sure what's currently available (if anything) for replacement seals.

I would try GM dealer, old glass shop. If not then your going to have to look replacement mirror that may have good looking seals but bad chrome or glass, or good mirrors. Oh I do think the seals are the same swing out towing mirror style on you truck Ford, GM, Aftermarket, 70% on the Dodge.

They are available from Autozone. Part # Burco 2204. Maybe less from a glass shop.
