Re: SPID Picture thread?
I’ve never heard of that. Is that something worth while?

So in 2WH the truck will handle like any 2WD posi truck? My plans are to junk the body and use the chassis under one of my other 127” C-10 pick-up bodies. Michael

Re: SPID Picture thread?
front hubs free and transfer case in 2H shouldn't bother anything up front..
the biggest issue I've heard of were on the later, lighter duty front axles.. now positrac was GM's name for limited slip on Dana axles.. might have a D44 up front (both my 71 k20 and 71 k1500 do) and might be a little heartier with it.. was thinking about adding one to my k20 at some point but haven't researched specifics yet.. but the bottom line is, they'll all serve you well to get out of the mud but won't care much for 4 wheel burnouts looking forward to seeing more of what's under there.. divorced transfer case would be icing on the cake! found one in a GSA suburban with pto winch but guy wanted too much for it..

Everything is saveable.... rare does not equal desirable. I think it would be too much to bring it back. I bought it for the running gear.

Not sure about the lift gate. Notches were cut at the rear of the truck, frame and bed under tailgate. No signs of ever having a bumper mounted. Other thing I felt was odd was lift gate, 1/2 ton, short bed. Truck only had 69,000 miles on it when I purchased it. Bed was not beat up at all, including the front of the bed. Truck came from Maryland, I would love to find pics of the lift gate. Story that came with the truck was purchased from surplus auction in 1975, kept for 20 years and sold in 1995, stored in a garage until I purchased it in 2010.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
The first one, the B85 and BX2 are called out on a YE9 Cheyenne Super. Interesting.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Thought of you today Eric when I was wearing my Chevyland hat. Do you have the truck in post #966 ( the first one)? Or just the glovebox door? I would like to see the 516 paint with the olive interior- thanks for sharing

Re: SPID Picture thread?
How come some supers specify the n33 comfort tilt column and some dont? My spid doesn’t list the n33 option yet it has a tilt column. I asked about it in a past thread and the general consensus was that all the black items had been added to my truck tilt column dash pad etc as the carpet was saddle but I think someone had just replaced the carpet and put the wrong color in. I believe the black items were original and the carpet was not.

The way you have it setup now is correct Parchment interior In copper truck = Black carpet, dash pad, column Although, I agree, the tilt was added at some point And not factory, due to the fact it wasn’t listed on spid |
