Bug Deflector from LMC

Thanks to Kevin I now am a proud owner of a bug deflector as sold by LMC.
Nothing wrong so far. But I never would have guessed that I had to use Duo-Loc (3M) to put the damn thing on!! That means some one can steel the thing of within a second... Do any of you have this bug deflector? And what's your opinion about it after using it?
Thanks for all the input.

Cya,
Edmond

Post a picture of it. My first 2 K-5s had bud deflectors on them when I bought them, but they were the old-school flat plexy stuff. I removed them as soon as I got the trucks home. I still have one in my garage if anyone wants it!

MY 71 BLAZER HAD A BUG DEFLECTOR ON IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT, & DROVE IT ABOUT 120 MILES HOME, ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO. IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE FIRST THING I TOOK OFF, & I WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY VERY HAPPY IF SOMEONE STOLE IT. (THE BUG DEFLECTOR.. NOT THE BLAZER) JOHN

I don't really have a problem with bugs hitting the window anyway. The shape of the 72 hood is about 5 degree off of being the same angle that a bug deflector is in. If anything bugs hit the top of the windshield. Unless of course it's a big juicy one, and even bug deflectors don't stop all of those.

As good a product as they were supposed to be, they were a fad that (thankfullly) died. I know we can still buy the aerodynamic bug shields, but I don't like 'em, either. I might go with a bra, at the most. Just no plastic bug shields/deflectors.

I have one for an '00-02 Tundra, if anyone wants to come get it. It's dark grey and causes a whistling sound at about 55-65mph. It also chipped the paint where it was installed between the grille and the hood. THAT'S WHY I TOOK IT OFF!!!!

Oh, I didn't put it on the truck; it was a used truck and already installed when I bought it.
