My Square Body Oil Painting - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

A friend of mine contacted me and wanted an Oil Painting of a Square Body sitting out in the middle of farmhouse field. He said that I could pick the color of the truck and the field, so I chose a red truck (because I own one).

Very nice! I would almost buy one and I'm a cheapskate. I'll bet a lot of other people would buy one too. If I could paint like that I would be hawking them everywhere lol.

In LA it is traditional to have your portrait of you car or truck being chased by the police.

Either way it is a very nice looking painting.

You did an awesome job, that reflection on the hood is great! How long did it take you to do?

Lowbrow454, it took me about 10 hours over a weeks time to paint it. I just finished a painting of a dirt track car too. Lots of fun.
