Re: slammed 57
I just mention how much mileage she has on her audi between shop visits. haha.
i had to do the turbo downpipe. it's an older TT quatro set up, so all wheel drive. the pipes wrap around the driveline and it's reall hard to even see the turbo pipe bolts let alone access them. 11 hrs in the labour guide to change it. she usually changes the subject about that time herself. haha. |

Re: slammed 57
Installed the electric parking brake today, I searched the forums to see how everyone was mounting the actuator but couldn't find any pictures on how everyone was doing so, So hers a pic if anyone needed for the future. I made a bracket for it to sit into and mount to the frame and put a clamp on the front to stabilize it. works really well, thanks bam55 for the idea and help you gave me.

Re: slammed 57
Got the new seat a few weeks ago, made a frame and epoxied for it to sit on and secure it to the floor. Now it’s time to install the shoulder seat belts.

Re: slammed 57
I needed more room for the clutch pedal. They recommended a 7" swing for a hydraulic set up, I only had enough for 4", needless to say I had to cut a pocket in the floor board another 3", I figured while I was at it I extended where the gas pedal another 1" ( it felt a little to cramped inside once the seat was put in....Wheew! that was a lot of work and this summer heat is killin me!

Re: slammed 57
Seat belts are in ( sorry I cant figure out how to rotate them ) borrowed the idea from BigGlass on his build. 2 more weeks and she gets taken apart to prep for paint work/ blasting....Shoulders get ready for the mud slinging and sanding!
