Selling My Pickup
My trucks been sitting a while now because ive been focusing on the blazer. but i wasnt planning on getting back to the truck for another few years. then i started thinking bout the $$ in storage, and how many other people might want to restore it, and Ive came to the conclusion that it would be best for her (the truck) to give someone else a chance to take her in.
Of course there's a few catches: 1) Im selling my heart and soul with her so I wont be very generous with negotiations. 2) Its a complete project truck that I had huge plans of customization with it so anyone who buys it will kinda have to be lookin for the same thing unless they want to spend a lot changing it back. - The tailgate handle is relocated and with a cover over the outside (done really nice) - I also have a rollpan and a $500 set of LEDs that I purchased from HiTech that will come with the truck. - I shaved the door handles so they will either have to be adjusted correctly or just replace the doors. - I installed power windows so if those arent desired new regulators and door panels will be neccesary. - There is no engine or tranny in it but I have a 700r4 with less than 10K miles and a rebuildable block that will come with the truck. - Fuel tank was relocated but we just cut a hole in the bed for filler. - Truck has a 4/6 drop so it looks nice and the rides not too rough but it was just done by cutting the coils. - I kinda let the brakes go bad cuz I was planning on switching over to disc so work will need to be done there. - The rear end was howling like a dog when I slowed down so it probly needs to be redone. I also listed the things that were wrong with it to minimize the chance of any surprises. There is barely any rust on the lower cab and rain gutter (definitely nothing that cant be removed) and it is an A/C cab

guess i cant leave out that we did cut the frame from a long bed to a short bed but it was done perfectly so no warning is necessary.

you dropped it 4/6 by just cutting coils? How many did you cut?

heres a couple shots of the poppers that i already had but ill take some better ones of the rockers tomorrow morning along with some interios pics.
i cut all four of the springs and heated them after cutting to even it out. i was surprised cuz i was expecting a horrible drive for a $50 lowering job but it really wasnt that bad, even with 18s

interior shots, excellent seat besides minor tear, wires through the doorjam, and pretty clean engine compartment

as you can see, rust is only surface and hasnt eaten through anything. very easy to sandblast or maybe even sand away by hand. i also converted over to a cable throttle and have an addtl 1 1/8" hole in the firewall for when my injection system wire harness was running through. you might also notice a switch mounted on the dash for the lock up torque converter on the 700r4

they were 18" budnik anvils. 8" in front, 9.5" in rear. riding on 245/40/18 nitto tires. the tires were perfect cuz they were low profile enough to look nice, and they were just tall enough to where i never bent a rim. i sold them on the board a while back for pretty cheap. you can see the matching steering wheel in the pics though
ya they were six lug, special ordered with our offset in them. ever since chevy went back to six lug on their 1/2 tons weve had a lot greater selection of the six lugs. of course it figures the only thing thats not for sale in the pic is what everyones curious about lol. just playin. lemme know if anyone wants anymore pics of anything
