What method do you use ........

On the floor patch inner rocker and cab mounts? I have my A pillar off most of the B pillar and I took out the footwell panel as well. While those parts are still on order I do have cab mount and the rocker panel. I trimmed a lot vof the rocker/floor piece [you know the newer inner rocker piece that has about three or four inches of floor]. I have it where it fit in and ran y die grinder along it to cut the old floor out. That is the way I have done the last few trucks I put rockers in. But this time I need all four cab mounts.Since I have the floor fitting I took it back out and started trimming with the plasma cutter leaving only the flanges spotted to the floor. I figured I would drill out the spots from underside then fit up the mount. I have the cab on the tipper flipper dolly so getting under isnt a problem. Just wondering what you guys are doing there. I sometimes take the long way around. Jim

Re: What method do you use ........

It's been ten years since we did an inner rocker, but that sounds pretty much how we did it.

That’s pretty similar to how I did mine. I just laid the patch over what was left of the original inner, marked it and trimmed it to fit.
