71 cab/front onto 79 frame build

Well, its been a long time since I've been on here. But I recently started building a "new" truck. As the title states. Ill be putting my 71 front end and cab onto a 79 shortbed stepside frame. Here are some pics of the progress so far. Plenty more to come along with questions...May have tobupload pictures when I get home from work.

From home to current. Mobile uploads are a pain, and apparently I need to take them with my phone horizontally.. Lol

I'm going to assume that your cab came on something that wasn't close to being a 71 short bed frame.

I've seen guys do the swap with 4x4 chassis but not with a 2x4 chassis.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
