AC control lights?
My air conditioning control panel lights haven't worked since I don't know when. I just got them working. I put on new sockets and bulbs and now they work. There are two lights on the air conditioning control panel. One comes off the main under dash harness and the other from the air conditioning harness. The light from the main harness works in conjunction with the cluster lights, but the one from the air conditioning harness comes on with the ignition. Is that normal or do I have a problem. Seems strange to me. Thanks for any advice.

Both lights should work off the head light switch. Grey wire coming off the switch. Disconnect the one that comes on with key and tap into the one that works with the head lights.

The power for both bulbs ultimately goes through the light switch so that they both dim accordingly.

I expected it to work like you describe, but mine is not controlled by the headlight switch. It comes on when the key is on and stays on. Any Ideas why? Could my air conditioning harness be plugged into the wrong spot on the fuse box? |

Re: AC control lights?
If memory serves me correctly, there will be a grey wire with a single female plug that is part of the AC harness that should plug into the fuse box near the top right that is labeled "cluster feed".
Yours is probably plugged in the "Ign Unfused" spot.

Re: AC control lights?
That was it. It was plugged into ignition unfused instead of cluster feed. Thanks.
