Yes, my passenger retractor is bad. How's the plastic covers on either? I have the correct plastic paint from USA1, as long as they're not cracked or scratched horribly.

What do you mean by “bad”? I have had good luck with restoring these seatbelts.

Re: WTB: saddle seat belt retractor

By bad I mean the actual retractor is missing. I have no idea how they did it as it doesn’t look like it’s ever been taken apart but it’s not there.

There’s no belt or latch? There isn’t much to these retractors.

Re: WTB: saddle seat belt retractor

Whatever causes the belt to retract back down around the rod is broken. Or detached. I’ve never taken one apart.

If you like, you can send them to me. I can see if I can repair your retractor and even restore the whole set. I posted a link on the last message, on my Seatbelt Restorations. If I can’t get it repaired, then I can replace it with a good retractor.
Let me know.

Re: WTB: saddle seat belt retractor

I'll keep it in mind. This is just a work truck for me, so while I don't want it to look like a piece of junk, having a perfectly restored belt in place isn't necessary.

Re: WTB: saddle seat belt retractor

Thanks Brian. Let me give it some thought. I'd like a nicer cover than that one, but if I can't find another one I may take it.

I went out and looked into my stash, I do still have some. So if you do want your set restored, I should be able to replace the one that is no good.
