Tailgate link/arm bumpers

Could someone measure the location of these for me? Need to re-drill the location. With all the screw holes in the rear stake pillars guess I ended up welding up the holes.

The thick one by my eye measures 7 3/8" up from the lower end the stake pillar and 1/2" in from the outer brake radius. The small button one on top should be drilled in the middle of the depression.

Re: Tailgate link/arm bumpers

Thank you for taking the time. I am good with the button bumper. Is the measurement to the edge of the rectangular bumper or to center where screw attachment is?

Re: Tailgate link/arm bumpers

Should be to center. As close as I could see to a hole in a rubber block. Let me go out and double check this morning when there is better light. Last night was with a flashlight. I’ll post measurements again. Was using a machinist square and the increments are so close. With poorer light they may be off a bit. I measured from where the stake fitting meets the rear sill plate.

Re: Tailgate link/arm bumpers

8 1/2 inches down from the buttonhole. 1 inch in from the inner face of the stake pocket to the hole (hole-center) for the square bumper.

Re: Tailgate link/arm bumpers

Richard
Remeasured a little while ago. The 7 3/8 dimension is good. As is 472's, just taken from a different dimension. As for the other mine measures 1/2 in to center. Not sure if 472 was measuring to center of hole or outside of the bumper. But if he measured to the outside of the bumper both dimensions would be the same.
