Finished up the AMF Roadmaster bicycle . Added a tank, original fender headlight (that actually works ) and a new set of white wall tires. Also built a rack to strap down the bike in the rear of the Suburban. Fits in there pretty nice

Looks about like I expect mine does. Are you planning to do anything about the rust inside as well? Any idea what it is about the design of these that makes them so prone to rust?

Cleaned it up best i could and shot some rustoleum rust reformer on it

Made more progress on the hatch. Had to form a piece to repair the outside lip for the window seal on the top middle portion of the hatch

Made the patch for the inside top portion of hatch as well and tacked it in place

Thanks for the support guys. Started to weld up the hatch yesterday and do a little grinding, then the wheels fell off the wagon. I think one of the reed valves broke in the compressor and I'm just about out of argon for the mig lol

Yes Leon, yes it does ... But the sun is coming out in the garage I found the problem with the compressor and its working again. Now I just have to get the argon tank filled next weekend and everything should be back to normal LOL
