Tail light wiring help
I have 2 of the 4" round tail light on my flatbed and I am trying to hook them up to the factory tail light harness. First off, can this be done??
I have a yellow and green wire for the drivers side and a light green and dark green wire for the passenger side and then a bunch of brown wire endes that were bundled together. The light itself has a red wire and a black wire sticking out the back of it. What is the easiest way to wire this up?

Yes it can be done. I know the black is your ground. Without looking I can't help with the red wire connection. You need dual filament bulbs and sockets for brake/signal and tail lights.
Here are mine

the first thing you have to detimine is if you have single or double filament bulbs. if you have dual filakint lamps that means your ground is going to be coming off the body of the lamp if single filament your black will be the ground and you'll need an additional light for the system to work
brown wires are for taillamps marker lights and liscence plate light yellow wire is for the drivers side stop/turn lamp dark green wire passenger stop/turn lamp light green wires are backup lamps
