HD headlight harness plug and play

Looking to upgrade my headlights with the relay style harness that comes from the battery.
Don’t want to buy a cheap one that I will have issues with.
Anyone have good luck with any certain brand?

Thanks
Steve

I used this one. Works well with the Harley Davidson LED headlites. Easy install and LMC is a place everyone has dealt with

Re: HD headlight harness plug and play

Just ordered the harness from LMC. Let you know how it goes. Like the idea of all the power routed from the battery and not the head light switch and high beam switch. Seems to be the two places that are problems with burning up the switch contacts and or wires...may replace the headlights with leds but see how this goes first.

I just built my own. I got like $15.00 in it. Not at all hard to do.
Your going to love it no matter which way you go though.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Did you use 1 relay or 2? What about high beams.

If you want high beams you need two relays. The wiring is really simple.

Andy,

Where did you get the parts and do they have ceramic sockets?

I used 1 relay for high and 1 for low.

It's a simple job. Run a 12 volt hot from the battery are the alternator to both relays. I bought everything at local parts store.

I’m going with the one from CE electric, do you know which one you ordered the part number by any chance?

Re: HD headlight harness plug and play

i ordered the h13 but thats because i am running those jeep headlights and it plugs right in to them..

the others i think are the same idea, i had to hook up a couple grounds, a hot wire to the batt post and three wires to the existing headlamp plug coming from the harness.. The relays are sealed high end ones, and the whole harness is covered in non abrasive material and is perfect length.. Everything i get from these guys is great and right on..

Talking Re: HD headlight harness plug and play

For $200.00 I will build you a harness that will work as good as that one. Mine has been working now since 2007. No problems and still running the same relays.

Mine just ant that pretty though. My thread.
