Brakes...again....
Two questions:
1. Can anyone link me to an exploded view of the front drum brake assembly for a ‘67 GMC? 2. Below is a picture of the left front brake stuff after removing the drum...pictures I’ve searched for (GM front brake assembly) show a strut and spring between the shoes about 2/3 up from the bottom...am I missing that? Thanks!

Re: Brakes...again....
The strut & spring you are referring to are on the rear brakes. They are part of the emergency brakes. The photo you show is correct for the self adjusting brakes on the front.

Re: Brakes...again....
Thanks! I still (obviously) need an exploded diagram of the front brake parts...I started this project about 3 weeks ago and expected to finish in a day or two...and my mind is old and forgetful....

Re: Brakes...again....
If you do one side at a time you can use the other side for reference. You can use the rear exploded view & not consider the emergency brake parts. Every thing else is the same. Remember the shoe with the small lining goes to the front. Take the adjusting screw apart & clean & put on a light coat of grease.
