Considering my 71 C20 has been waiting in the back yard for the past few years (and I actually plan on starting this when I find the wheels) I would put the 2K into getting it road worthy. 8 lug steel wheels to replace the split rims, redo the brake system, fuel system, rebuild kit for the turbo400, rebuild kit for the Dana60, carb rebuild kit, tune up items and registration / insurance. I'm sure that's over $2K but I do all the work myself and that would pretty close.
