I have taken my old seats out and have my replacement seats in/almost, they still need to be torqued down. Does anybody want anything off of these old seats? They're 1970 K5 Blazer, they have the steel backing, but the stuffing and material is pretty much trashed on the front buckets, but the metal is still probably salvagable. The back bench seat is in pretty good shape actually, being 34 yrs. old anyway. If anybody wants all or part it's free + shipping, or if you're close enough to Raleigh, you can pick up. If no takers, they're going to the dump.

If you weren't so far away I would take it all.

Do you have the brakets that mount to the floor? If so I'd be interested in those.

Red72, what do you consider the frame. I assume the inside frame that the stuffing and material is around, if that is it, than it should be good.

Bouncytruck, I have the brackets that bolt to the floor.

If you want these let me know, and I will find out how much shipping is. It will probably take a few days, maybe even until next monday to find out, as I work very long hours. But If you want them, they're yours.

we should definatly try to save shipping by sending them together. Just let me know what the plans are. I am just really concerned with the frame. It basically is the entire strucutral part of the seat. I have a perfect passenger side seat, but my drivers side the frame is broken so I suffer from sloppy seat back.

btw Aren't they going to reproduce the foam for buckets?

Red72, if you and Chris (Bouncytruck) are close enough I will ship the stuff together. I will just send you the entire seat, that way I won't mess anything up taking it apart. It is a good frame. I don't know the about the reproduction cushions? I put leather seats out of a 2000 Durango in my Blazer

Yeah, you can get new foam & covers... I just need the brackets for my '69. The home-made brackets in there now are too high and I have to hunch to see out the windshield.

RED72 - where are you at in Seattle? Greyhound is probably the cheapest way to ship the whole seat. I had a rear seat shipped from KS to WA for $35.
