Can anyone tell me if this is an original or repop handle? Look closely in the red circle, it's stamped Hancock.

I have one on my bench that I just sand blasted. It is the original handle and it has the same exact marking your does. So I would tell you that its original.

Thank you everyone. I bought an aftermarket handle to install on an original tailgate and could not get it to work. The handle would hit the gate opening on the top. Tried another aftermarket handle, same thing. Found this one on eBay, advertised as original, and it works fine. It's not stainless, just stripped down to bare metal. The flash on the picture makes it look like stainless though.

Good deal - was curious if was a handle for a 71 Super. The Hancock stamp is also seen on hood latches.
