Does anyone know the length from center of u-joint to end of splines on inner shaft's of a 71 k10 dana 44 . I deserve some sort of award for my actions, I threw all of my old axles out when I bought a set off ebay, turns out the new ones were for for closed knuckle. I'm trying to order a set from moser but I need dimensions, or perhaps a part number. Go easy on me.

Did you ever find the axle shaft length. I'm also having problems with my D44.

rustyg, where are you located? I think that I still have some shafts lying around in the garage. I do know that my corp 10 was different length than my dana44 shafts. The diff is not in the same location... I'll PM you my number... I live in Lebanon, PA.

I need the dimensions for axle shafts 904686-1 and 904686-2 neither one has dimensions listed. I do not have the original shafts and the other GM D44 shafts are to long.

The warn catalog has the lenghts. If you didnt already find them Ill check for you tomorrow when Im at work.

The ones I have out of a dana 44 are short 18.5" and long 36.25". Hope that helps. (That first post sure is old).
