Hi Pete, a good friend of mine has a bunch of that stuff laying around at his property. Please send me a picture of what you're looking for and I will forward it to him.

It's the top examples on this pic. I really appreciate the help - will make it worth the effort if you can scare up a set. Thank you!

Re: WTB: U-bolt plates for 14 bolt rear axle

are these for your fire truck? you're in the 67-72 section, might get better results in a later model section where 14 bolt were standard

Jeff I greatly appreciate you offering those. These are close in condition to what’s now in place. I’m going to keep beating the bushes here for a little bit to see if a pit free set surfaces. Crazy plate design - like a nest designed to hatch rust.

I had the rear end roll right out from under a K2500 a couple of years ago. Those thing rusted completely away, and they were always in Arkansas.

I may yet take those. Can't believe the crummy design. I don't want to lose my axle like Larry.

Thanks for digging! So close! Those are 0.25” too small - I need plates for a 3.375” OD axle tube.

Re: WTB: U-bolt plates for 14 bolt rear axle

Side to Side Holes,Center to Center, (3 3/8),"

https://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/...ing-bt5-251ck/

I'm out of practice sizing those items on our trucks, we have an awesome local vendor Betts has everything

Re: WTB: U-bolt plates for 14 bolt rear axle

Thanks i will call them to confirm a good fitment. It looks like some kits are available to flip the U bolt that make use of a flat plate across the top of the leaf spring pack that avoids the water and crud accumulation.

Dale you bet. Thanks.

I just received these beefy U bolt flip plates that rest atop the spring pack and allow the bolts to attach from the bottom up. US made.

Thanks all.

Look like they are from RuffStuff. Used them on my truck. Drilling drain holes in the stock u-bolt plates may be a good idea.
