Well Tulsa "The Track that hates Me" was nicer to me than usual. It was hot and miserable everyone was struggling with the starting line. I don't think I came home with anything broken. I'll look everything over later in the week. I somehow made it to fourth round but lost a crazy top end battle. Tx Motorplex racer Brandon Millican won! He came home in 7th place with only three races. So his next two he gains 30 points when he stages. Although I came home in 3rd place 22 points (two rounds and two little points) behind 1st place and two points behind 2nd place. I have three races left but I have to make past second round to gain points. The top two guys have first round races so they can make points once they get out of the first round. Number 1 guy has three races left. Number 2 guy has two races left. It gets crazy this time of year in the points chase. I have a chance but it damn sure isn't going to be easy.

I never understood the structuring of points acquisition. Always seemed overly complicated but I suppose there's logic/reason behind the way it's done.

It's not that hard SCOTI although it gets confusing and unpredictable at the end of the year. You can run eight races that count. Your best five out of eight determine your points. You can have only three races out of Division. My three will be the race in Georgia and the Double Divisional in Topeka. You can race anything you want to and don't have to claim it. You do that with your Tech Card. Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me.

I presented my two racing friends that helped me their awards this past weekend. I've had this picture for awhile now. Their names are blocked to protect them from prosecution.

Well we finally had our season opener at the local track, test and tune Sat and bracket races on Sun, trans brake button in my PPP shifter died on Sat so had to wire in my line lock for the brake and wired up a make do switch for the line lock and zip tied it to my shifter cable lol.

Sun I went out third round, a .068 light just isn’t going to get the job done, oh well it was hot and I needed a beer anyway.

I had fun making them. I started with an old can of light blue spray paint on the 2x4's. I found two old rusty over the door coat hooks. I cut the hooks off and beat the over the door u shaped part flat. I drilled two holes in the flat part then welded them to the tubing pieces. I decided it needed more color so it got some Blue Truck blue spray bomb paint. Then i decided that was too much blue and spay bombed some black. When that dried I roughed in a chrome silver Pactra model paint stripe. I was just going to write something on the bottom but I just signed and dated it (Thanks, Regan 5-14-21). They were snowballing into such Masterpieces I decided to drop by the trophy shop for some fancy plates for the front of them. When I gave them to my friends it was hilarious. The one that did all the welding just kept looking down and saying that's cool. I told them my Ol Lady said hey would just throw it away. They said hell no this is going on my shelf. When the welder was working on it at the track someone said this needs to be on YouTube. He said oh no I don't want my name associated with this mess. I told him he owns it know. In the end it was just a way to show my appreciation.

At least you got it rigged up good enough to race. Third round isn't a bad first race.
