You guys are gonna hate this... I put neon in my 72 =)
lol... I've been wanting to do this for a while... 4 blue cold cathodes under my seat, and a Street Glow 54" blue tube behind it...
Theese pics are before i put the seat back in.. so it doesnt look this bright. I wired it all to a switch under my dash, so I can kill it when I need to. It looks killer.... hehe, I know I used to be stock with you guys... but im diggin the Neon thing I originally planned on installin my Gold Series Streetglow kit in my undercariage... but 2 of the tubes broke... so Im still lookin for a place to use my 30",without the tube bein visible..

Looks cool, IMHO. I plan on putting some black lights under the seats in my vette, should look good cuz of the "cockpit" style.

Black lights look really cool if you do em right. Jus make sure you keep your carpet REALLY clean, necause it makes every little piece of lint and dust glow
So this must be what its like to drive a ricer... lol

My buddy and I use to MAKE custome neon kits for cars. The guy whe had doing our tubes is the same guy that did the big CNN sign here in Atlanta. Lots of trick. He would add a little extra mercury and get som real bright lights going. We sold them at local car shows. We put a set on Travis Tritts Supercharged F150.

I cant decide which is tighter... Making Neon tubes, or meeting Travis Tritt. Hehe
I've been takin a lot of flack for puttin it in.. but who cares, its not like I cant turn it off when I want to. And it jus draws extra attention at shows.

Put the 30" tube behind the grill!
I believe it is illegal to drive with neon on in Washington State. I thought about running some along the undersides of the bed rails in my '69 Blazer since there aren't any interior lights.

I had a set in my truck in high school that were tied into my amp for my subs....so every time my subwoofer would "hit" the lights would flash. it was pretty sweet!

I think that is sweet. I know lots of guy think these are only for the "ricers" (I don't really like that term...) I was thinking about getting some like bouncy talks about in my blazer....someday, eh? :-)

lol shaddup.
I think thats what im gonna do with my 30 Inch... Then Im gonna buy some 6" mini tubes, and screw them in *under* my air filter. Then jus use the carb to hide the wire, and go through my firewall. It'd give me a pretty sicc blue glow on top of my intake. I've never seen engine bay neon on anything besides ricers, so it'd at least be different. Really All I wanted was to make it draw a lil more attention at shows. Im not gonna take it too far.. No strobes, and probably no underbody, and I dont really wanna mix the colors(Ie, ricers with Green, Orange, and Purple in their interrior). If I add any other colors, i'll jus put in white. And im not gonna do anything where the tubes are exposed. I think that looks tacky. I had that same idea about the bed rails!!!! If I had 2 54" tubes, thats where I woulda put em. Even in the fleetsides, theres a ton of room to to tuck a few tubes in them. It would make a really even glow over your fender whells... I think it would look awsome, and i've never seen a truck with Neon in the bed, that it wasnt attached to a tonneau cover. :-D

I am installing a pair of orange sex lights under the dash on both sides of my truck. Lights in the cab are cool, just keep them from glowing under the truck

That vid with the chicki on the covered bridge over the pond with the water fall....that's his front yard. The covered bridge is part of his driveway. My job had me in contact with a lot of famous Atlant area residents. I almost ended Dominiqe Wilson Career. I was down under the omni meeting up with a Guy by the last name of Lynn that use to bring the Ice capades, Circus and did something for the Flames here. Dominique walked out between a van and parked car and I damn near ran him over. Done work for most of the braves, Hawks and Flacons back about 10 years ago. I did a Jag in parking space 1 of CNN center...I figure it was Hanoi Janes. The go between would not tell me who's car it was. I worked on Elton Johns cars as well but didn't get to meet him. I got a Good story about bobby Ahbare (sp) The Felcons Quarteback and his kid taking a wizz on a tree in the front yard of a 2 million+ dollar house in Country Club of the south LOL.

I wouldn't mind some subtle lighting coming out from under the dash, but don't have a clue on how to do it.

hey KP, PM me or somethin.. its really easy.
Jus run the ground to your chassis, and the hot to the inlet on a toggle switch, then from the out on the switch to your fusebox/battery. Jus use an inline 5 or 10 amp fuse if your goin to your battery. =D
