Trans cooler & vintage air condenser

On our '72 K20 build - Have an external trans cooler that was previously mounted in front of & up against the radiator on a truck without A/C.
Installing Vintage Air on this one. If there is space between, would it be okay to have radiator, trans cooler & a/c condenser all there in line together?

It would take a lot of fabrication to stack three separate units in the available space.

Use the readily available radiator with built-in trans cooler and the Vintage Air condenser would install as they intended.

While changing the engine oil on the '05 Dodge Magnum last year, I discovered a trans oil leak that was coming from the AC condenser. I had never noticed the plumbing before that.

That's what I did with mine back in the day. Mounting the trans cooler horizontally required that I cut a notch in the center grille support. Worked fine.

My FiL put a trans oil cooler under the bumper in a less-than-ideal location. It's inline with the intercooler in the radiator. I'm thinking that I can remove that, since I now have the running-hot issue with the cooling system resolved.

This is how I did my trans cooler. Just modified my grille support a little thinner. There is room but not very much.

Yes, that'll be my next choice with a new cooler, if can't make this one I already have fit neatly.

Yes this is what I'm talking about, because I already have a trans cooler like yours here. But was thinking about cooler between radiator & condenser.
Have you run yours yet and any cooling or a/c issues like that?

Just remember it will reduce the efficiency of the cooling unit(s) installed behind.

Most factory vehicles have the condenser just in front of the radiator and all others (trans, power steering, oil) in front of that. I think the condenser needs the flow more than the others and needs to be as close to the radiator as possible.

Got trans cooler to fit in front of condenser & didn't even have to trim the grill support!
