Does anyone know where I can get the posi clutch pack for a 1959 Dana 45 rear. It is original to the truck. Everything works fine except for the Trak Loc.

I'm thinking that in your searches you looked at the same threads in other groups that I just did and they have more nonsense than help in them.

Still the general consensus seems to be that parts for those have been few and far between for a long time. That and it seems that that 59 rear end is all off by it's self as a one year only item.

mr48chev, thanks for the reply. Everything is OK in the rear except for the posi clutches. It has 20 spline axles which also makes it rare as hen's teeth. I may have to just bite the bullet and go for a rear swap. (Another winter project.)

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
