AD and TF trucks at Vintiques NW nationals today

We went up to the Vintiques northwest nationals for a couple of hours and walked around with my daughter and future (one week) son in law for a couple of hours. not to many AD or TF trucks on the grounds yet and most are pretty familiar.

The 235 Offy intake was pretty interesting and the 47 cab while a bit rough was fairly solid. It had a pair of real nice fenders and a decent GMC hood with it.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I've taken a photo of the black truck in pretty much the same spot for the last several years. Guys have "their spot" at Vintiques and that is where you can find them every year.

I got something on my lens when I was taking shots of the truck cab and didn't catch it right off.

The orange 53 is pretty much unchanged from the way it looked 20 years ago.

Had to post a shot of Kim's smoker. Local outfit that cooks up some great barbecue it was a pulled pork sandwich today as they had run out of beef.
That is a genuine pro smoker.

The panel was beyond nice but I didn't get any more photos of it.

I think that the stretch cab 57 is the same one I have seen before but it has a fresh satin paint job now. I'm not sure what was going on with the air ducts.

Re: AD and TF trucks at Vintiques NW nationals today

Back inside the Sundome Art had his GMC with the blown six in his booth with some new door lettering.

He is a pretty knowledgeable long time rodder who was mentored by some of the best of them back 40 years ago.

He also had a very welcome stool and table that Jean and I caught our breath at before she headed off to buy event shirts and wine glasses.

I'm not sure if I am up to hiking around there tomorrow but may take a friend up on his offer of a comfortable chair behind his car if I do.,

Re: AD and TF trucks at Vintiques NW nationals today

After I dropped my wife off at our daughter's bridal shower I ran back up to the Vintiques show (got the Sr discount and walked around for a couple of hours getting shots of some rigs I didn't see yesterday.

The Moon truck is a new one to me. Not sure if it has a real connection or pretend.

I looked at the Fenders with the 47 cab and they are real solid GMC fenders with the inner fenders.

The Bare metal 54 was pretty straight.
