That is a really sweet truck! That detailer started out with a clean platform though....

Re: M.A.D. Detailing

Pretty impressive.
I just recently took my truck to a buddy of mine that does some fantastic work detailing. Mine needed some paint correction, not nearly as bad as the truck in that video. It did have some sand marks, white spots and surface scratches. He got it all out! He did the clay bar and polish, and then used UndrDog Pro Sauce treatment. It’s supposed to be better than the ceramic coating. I can’t get over the difference, the color is just so brilliant now.

Re: M.A.D. Detailing

Pretty much solid colors are much easier than metallics . They did a good job but in all honesty anything can be made to shine up nice . I stripped the repaint off my 68 and detailed the original paint . It was rubbed through in spots and some bare steel but it shined up nice . No clear used if I get a little rust starting on the bare steel I use #0000 steel wool and some wax and it’s good for a month or so

Re: M.A.D. Detailing

Im watching that episode right now. These trucks were painted with paint made to last. None of this water based stuff.
