Junk Yard Find - 1978 Wiper Pulse Delay Control Module and Switch
I was at the junk yard and found a windshield pulse wiper delay module and the switch from a 1978 same year as my truck. I understand this to be some what of a rare option and that it also is plug and play for a 1978. For under 10 bucks I thought it was worth a try.

Vans, trucks, use the same module. In a pinch for delay wipers you can also use the van switch, it just won't bolt up flush as the van dash is angled, but at least you got working delay wipers if your switch is fubar and don't have a proper replacement on hand.

Can you post some pics of the parts you got? I'd like to keep a lookout in the future.

Re: Junk Yard Find - 1978 Wiper Pulse Delay Control Module and Switch
These aren't rare at all and came in many 1978 through 1984 trucks. The switches can be purchased new easily but the module is not reproduced and many are known for having issues. The wiper delay came out for trucks in 1977 and these are what I would consider rare. They were one year only and maybe many 1977 truck purchasers didn't know they were available. I have been selling squarebody parts for a living since 2002 and have only came up with 2 used ones in that time and 1 NOS one
