Rear brake drum size 67 to 72 and 73 +
Is there a difference in rear brake drum sizes between 67 to 72 and 73 to 80 Chevy 12 bolt rear ends ?5 bolt pattern

From 1960 till 1970 ALL front AND rear brake shoes were !1" X 2", front and rear!!! Half ton stuff.
Half tone rear brake shoes, 71, 72, 73 (yes 73 being first year of square bodies!) were all 11" X 2" shoes. 74 and up, half tons could have either 11" X 2" rear shoes, or 11-5/32" X 2-3/4" shoes, this went all the way to 1987. all half ton info, here... |
