8 lug to 5 lug C20 front end

I have an 86 C20 and want to go to 5 lug on the front. Does anyone make a drop spindle that will bolt on to my C20 front that allows a 5 lug hub?
I do have also a 78 C10 parts truck that I can get parts from. I just don't know which, uca, lca which ball joints and where? I have swapped in a 12 bolt 5 lug rear and just need to do the front now. Thanks, hope there's a reasonable solution and you can point me in the right direction.

upper ball joint swap, lower control arm swap with ball joint, caliper swap. now you can get a 1/2 ton spindle.

Thanks kwmech

So, if I need to source any of the parts you mentioned from the auto parts guy, just get everything for an 86 1/2 ton C10? Just in case I won't be able to get everything from my donor truck that is.

Re: 8 lug to 5 lug C20 front end

I want to do the same thing for HD ball joints, and tie rods ends. Another option is to ream C10 drop spindles to C20 size. It was suggested to me as being safe, and I found a set of spindles to inspect. To me there is enough meat left there to play with.

There used to be a company who sold C20-10 conversion spindles, but they are long gone.

Early Classic Enterprises use to make a c20-to-c10 conversion spindle.
But they are out of business.
Seems like they were about $400 new.

I have a set I bought off this board.
I would sell them but shipping these heavy spindles would kill the deal.

You could also ream the bottom taper on the spindle for a c20 ball joint.
Used to be a pre runner swap
