Parts suppliers for our trucks in Canada?
Have you used any parts suppliers in Canada that give good service, have decent rates? Generally I get them from the USA as I am very close to the border..but with the renewed border restrictions it makes it hard. Shipping from the USA to Canada for small orders is a killer.

Re: Parts suppliers for our trucks in Canada?
I have used cross canada parts here in Calgary, they have a website but would order through the larger website anyway.
https://www.crosscanadaparts.com/ these guys have distributors all over as well, they don't sell from the website but there is a number to call if you can't find a local dealer https://www.keypartsonline.com/ there should be a KMS tools shop near you and they can look stuff up and give pricing etc. the guys here in Calgary don't know the difference between a door handle and a hood emblem but you can walk them through it if you know what you want, lol. https://www.kmstools.com/c-a-r-parts...dy-panels.html these guys would likely ship to you from Calgary https://bodyshopsupplystore.ca/ or your local napa dealer can order stuff through their bodyshop supply division called Cmax. I have ordered panels through them before with no issues other than the regular aftermarket panel issues that they all have. https://www.napacanada.com/en/ab/cal...&store=1000268 these guys are helpful on the phone, never been there though.they would likely ship https://www.epiccustoms.ca/ these guys sell dynacorn as well and would ship likely. https://streetheatinc.com/ these guys ship from Calgary http://www.classicperformance.us/brands.html these guys sell dynacorn stuff so they likely have access to the whole catalogue https://www.themustangshop.ca/manufacturers these guys are in Prince George but I have had no dealings with them. they say they ship and have catalogues on their website. the usual vendors. http://www.oldcarcentre.com/index.html for brackets and kits try these guys in Ontario, lots of parts on their website and great to deal with on the phone too. https://welderseries.com/ what truck are you working on? task force? advanced design? got pics? |

Re: Parts suppliers for our trucks in Canada?
I have been using partsavatar.ca lately, especially for heavier items as they have free shipping on orders over $49 (free shipping is pretty much unheard of here in Canada!). As a result, heavier items like brake rotors and stuff ends up being very close in price to Rockauto. They don't carry specialty items for pre 1962 trucks though.
I have also used Bill's Truck Shop for specialty stuff on the older trucks and found the service and knowledge good, but they can't come close to the prices we can get by crossing the border. |
