I remember when my dad was with the Alameda County (CA ) Sheriff's Department they had a few of those square body trucks as Civil Defense rescue trucks. Suprised to see one today.

When you mention 'civil defense', reminds me of the the old phone company that was designated for that government title, including the green steel hard hats with the C/D triangle on them that were worn during the ' duck and cover' tests. Wish I could find one of those now.

A friend of mine on IG recently bought this sweet time capsule. It is currently being upgraded with an LS drivetrain as well as larger rims and other chassis and air suspension upgrades.

This thing is so cool (IMO). He said everything in the camper works. It also have a small built in fridge that I did not include a picture of.
