Need alternator bracket - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

For my 67 C10 with 350 engine long neck water pump...wanting to move alt to driver's side since I now have a a\c pump on the passenger's side. My 'net searches have turned up a lot of brackets for passenger side but zilch on driver's side...

Am I looking for a Unicorn here? any help appreciated!

If your not running power steering use your 67 alt brackets spaced out from the block with 3/8's id sections of pipe cut to the right length, if you have p/steering use 69-72 brackets and pipe. Most hardware stores have short black and galvanized sections that are threaded but you cut the threads off at each end to the length you need and paint them. I have both 67-8 and 69-72 brackets if you need them

Bill, here is what I found that bolt to the heads on the driver's side above the ps pump. I hope this helps, Mike
