Rear air deflector
Got a rear air deflector from a '79 Suburban. Got it fairly cleaned up. It had a wood-grain decal baked onto it from all those years in the sun. It fits pretty well. Gonna have to tweak it just a little. Doesn't look too bad just sitting on top....

Re: Rear air deflector
Does that have 1 or 2 mounting points? Can you show how you mounted it, both inside and outside? I think at some point someone added one on mine, and has filled over the holes with bondo

Re: Rear air deflector
It's got 3 mounting brackets. Will have to drill 6 holes, and it uses inserts that compress like a rivet for the screws to go into. Won't be visible from the inside.

Finally got it permanently mounted! I think it looks like it came that way!

Re: Rear air deflector
I took a torch to aluminum brackets to lessen the angle. Worked like a champ.
