Just picked up a truck load of parts. Guy was going to build his truck and started buying parts. Lost interest and I stayed in touch with him and he called bought everything he had. Still sorting through all the stuff to see if it was a good deal are not. At this point is was a fair deal. Some 67 only parts that I will be posting. Just goes to show when you meet some of the truck folks stay in touch you never know.

Re: Parts Score

You really do never know. I chased my Baja Bug for 6 years. It wasn't for sale. It was just across the road and I knew the old guy that had it. He was a nice guy. Unfortunately he passed away. His nephew came over and asked me if I wanted it for $200?

Uh...Yeah... Let me go change my underwear and get $200

He even towed it over. I had to pinch myself... Did that just happen???

Re: Parts Score

My dad had a neighbor who had a 1978 Big10. Asked him for years to buy it for me, and the neighbor said no each time.

One day, the neighbor went outside and a prairie dog ran acroos the cowl. He yelled at it and it looked at him and stared the neighbor down. The neighbor called my dad and told him to come get it for me. Free.
