55.2-59 What is this bracket? 55 GMC

Need some help identifying where this part goes on a 55 GMC half ton. Cannot find a picture of it anywhere. Thanks.

whatdoes your rad support look like? some are like a chevy and others like a first series. maybe something on the rad suppport? if chevy style it could bolt to the lower inner fender extensions maybe, for grille attachment? mine is a 57 gmc with the chevy style rad support but I don't recall a bracket like that. the 55 has a different grille though.

It is the center support bracket for the grill bars on my ‘57 GMC. It is attached behind the chrome middle radiator grill post. I don’t know if it is the same on a 55.
