Will a 50lb. solenoid work on our trucks for a shaved door?

Yes! I used a 20 lbs for years now I have a 30!
50 is ample!
Use a relay or two it will last longer as they are not cheap!
I have mine running of the alarm's truck popper button!
Also there is a hidden over ride switch w/ diode when the alarm is turned off!
If that all fails the vent window gets a pick'n
Cheers
