Sold the 58, Now working on the 54

Sorry to say I decided I would never get the 58 done.So it was time for it to go. I will concentrate on the 54. I have already taken the bed off, removed the front clip and hood, sold the motor and transmission. I need to shorten the ford 9" looking at Dutchmans but is a little to far, I'm sure mr48chevy can aim me in the right direction. I have a new 383 stroker with a 700r transmission. redo the wiring and interior. New wood in the bed. Finally get the AC working. any advice on what is the best fit inside the cab AC unit would be helpful, will need to find a couple rear fenders so I can get rid of the 2" plus fiberglass ones. I have a saw mill and making my lumber to build your small cabin in the woods, I'm 66 years old and just have to many projects. The 54 will keep me busy all winter

Check With Ritchie's Machine shop in Harrah. That's out west of me about 16 miles. They have a pretty solid rep with the local racers and 4x4 brigade.

I'd be sure and contact them and make sure that they were going to be there before I went though.

That is 85 miles the short way and about 105 the long way and not running along Punmphouse road to Lateral C like they show on the last map I have here.

I need to sell off some of my junk and get them to do one of my rear axles.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
