Must have been a ton of work put into that. But it is definitely not my cup o' tea.

Re: That's a NO from me....
Like it not. That is some serious bad a** custom work there. Fiberglass or metal. Kind of like it myself.

Re: That's a NO from me....
I have seen parts of those movies. My sons can quote dialog at length (correctly, I guess). Maybe the guy was looking for that Storm Trooper vibe, but missed.

That truck, while the craftsmanship is fantastic, doesn't put any lead in my pipe.

Re: That's a NO from me....
I wonder if it started out as a movie prop? Maybe built, filmed and then cut out of the final release.

Re: That's a NO from me....
I guess the builder never was told "The General got it all right with this one".
If the intent was a storm trooper look I think they nailed it. I'm not a Star Wars fanatic, like it less because of all the to-do. But it sure made me think of Star Wars If I had all the time in the world on my hands, this is what I wouldn't do with any of it

Re: That's a NO from me....
You know, there are alot of Chevrolet models over the years that could have used more forethought and actually could go with a little custom touch now and then. But the 67-72 trucks weren't one of them.
I'm not a fan of custom work by and large, but I like old chopped Mercs and some mods on the 30s and 40s cars and trucks. Tri five chevys, (trucks and cars), should be a protected species. The design engineers from about 1950 untill the early 1970s were a different breed. Back then you could spot a car and actully tell who made it and what year it was. Now they all look alike. I miss the good old days.

Re: That's a NO from me....
I would bet money on that. Look what they've done to cars in the past.
