Speaker Bracket Question

I bought a set of " big block 73's " corner speaker brackets for my 72 C10. They are going to be in stalled with 6 x 9's and wondering if anyone that has installed a set of these did they just bolt to the bracket and bolt the bracket into the truck or did you use any sound or vibration dampening material behind them. There will be Kilmat and carpet on the wall behind them. Picture is from someone elses install.

Re: Speaker Bracket Question

Hello
I modified the brackets so I could remove the panel. Using some black edging from amazon and speaker covers from Mike.
