Vintage Air Replacement Blower Motor
Hey, I have a sure fit setup from Vintage Air and the blower motor burned up smoking out the entire cab. I have an order in for a replacement but it has been on back order for the last 3 months. Does anyone know if there is a generic motor that would work as a replacement for VA PN: 63155-VUE (3 speed fan). My truck is parked until I can get it fixed as we have a ton of snow now and I can't see out of the windshield.

Re: Vintage Air Replacement Blower Motor
Vintage Air manufactures very few of the components in their systems themselves. They buy 'em, assemble 'em and resell 'em. I would remove the fan assembly from the evaporator box and see if it has a part number on it then hit up Google. I'm betting you'll find the part number referenced elsewhere on the 'webs.

Re: Vintage Air Replacement Blower Motor
I'll pull it this week to see if there are any manufacturer markings. Thanks.

Re: Vintage Air Replacement Blower Motor
So I found a replacement motor....Omega 26-14505, currently $67.75 on the jungle site. I tore apart my assembly and found that when the motor burned up, it got so hot it melted and warped the frame it sits in as well as part of the squirl cage and I now for sure need the entire assembly. Going to call tomorrow to see if Affordable Street Rods does, in fact have one in stock (Thank you MARKDTN). Updates to come.
