He's a Mopar guy, so there's that.
Kidding On a 71, probably 68-72. Stop & turn plugs into the housings. Reverse are single wire bullet connectors. The rear side marker ground terminal connects to the bed’s interior sheet metal with a (GR 5) 3/8" hex flange tap screw. The screw threads are 1/4" x 1/2", and the heads are stamped “D”. The rear lamp wires are 18 AWG and; • Brown for tail lamps, license plate lamp and markers. • Yellow for LH turn lamp. • Dark green for RH turn lamp. • Light green for reverse lamps.

and the "these" thing on trans, aka BU light switch, needs to be plugged in
