Talking Temporary 'Red Neck' Solution

I finally took the gas tank out, but had to find a way to close the bing hole left from the fillerneck. So I took this little piece of
diamondplate and made this 'Red Neck' solution
I left the grommet so no water can come in
When it goes for a repaint I will weld it shut

Cya,
Edmond

Temporary? I think you should make it permanent! Looks pretty good to me... ah, but then, I *am* a redneck too!

Far too nice to be considered a "redneck" fix.

The redneck way would have been to take the beer can that they were about to toss into the box anyway, slip it into the grommet an crush it just enough so it doesn't fall out.
