Just a suggestion. I recently went looking for a 4-core for my truck. The one listed in the catalog didn't match the one I had and so I talked to the guy at the "Radiator Store" here in San Diego. (Where I picked up the recommended one). He called out a number and had it brought to the front. Bingo!! The application is for a 70-74 Cad DeVille. It had the nipple for the heater hose which I had no use for so they removed and brazed a brass patch over it. The best part was that the Cad radiator was about $60 less.
The specified one was quoted at $218 + tax, the Cad one was $167 out the door. These are for brand new radiators. Needkess to say I was happier than a pig in ----! If you are in the San Diego area the place to go is the Radiator Store downtown around 17th and C. By City College! I believe there is also one in North County.

go on the website www.radiator.com Do the search and you will find a brand new 4 core that fits like a glove for about 150 bucks. Heck they had mine to my front door the next day.

I just got the stock style 3-row radiator for my 74 from radiator.com. It was $180 delivered to my work the next day. Lifetime warranty as well. I did the COD deal because I wanted to make sure it fit before I paid for it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
